Swingin’! Every now and then a solid time step – one that starts on the four, switches sides, and swings – comes up. Embedded in this one are some fun plays with balance, PICKUPS, and the turn. This step also comes with some nice pictures to work out. Tap Dance isn’t just about the sound for me, although the sound is prominent. Pictures, shapes, and movement all place into the character of the step. Both feed off each other and make a step what it is, but sometimes its good to give specific attention to one or the other.
