Ep. 80 Tap Dance Notes

Weekly Explorations in Tap Dance Land
Transcript

No transcript...

Wait for the second set!! This step ended up being an interesting experiment in accents that I wasn't expecting. Can the same short rhythm (the rhythm that the accents create) be made with different patterns of movement? Apparently yes! While this step has a different first and second half, the short rhythm is the same in both halves. The tones are even really really close. For the second set of repetitions I add an accent in the first half to differentiate the two sections of the groove. There is plenty more to dig into on this one. Maybe it will show up again later...
