Ep. 60 Tap Dance Notes

Explorations in Tap Dance Land

This triplet groove has a lot in it. I think there's something about the density of tap dancing that keeps me involved. I'm not so much a fan of the steps that seem superficial, easy to grasp, with little to unveil. I love the opportunity of continual discovery that comes with dense steps. While I'm playing this fairly evenly, there's a ton of opportunity for accents in this – which I play with in the tutorial (DM for details). As it is, the little hiccups in the RIFF make for a quirky journey. Something that warrants more attention than just sending the RIFF out, and bringing it back. What do you think?
