A bit from Jimmy Slyde, some rhythmic echoes, a crunchy riff (reminding me of John Bubbles), and a sneaky pickup all showed up in this step. This one seems more dense than my usual note. It feels closer to something that would end up in a piece of choreography…likely not repeated, but just as a single phrase. The dancing I tend to be drawn to is super dense, or grooving, or both! Then again, I have to watch out for making things too dense…one can only take in so much, after all.
