When creating is hard (as it has been recently for me) I lean on things that are familiar. I start there and see what comes. It’s not always necessary to break the mold. Sometimes an exploration in a place that is good and familiar is enough. Thankful to enjoy some time with the Paddle and Roll, have fun with some accents, and blaze through a 16th-note roll.
