Ep. 21 Tap Dance Notes

Your weekly dose of joy!

Sometimes you just have to go for it. You may not think you're ready, but at least in practice it's work a try. This step invited me into one of those times. It's obviously not perfect, but practicing at fast tempos helps me understand what I still need to work on. When dancing this fast, there isn't enough time to think, reflect, or correct, in the same ways that happen when the dancing is slower. Here, I rely more on my prior training. The things that aren't confident show up as missed sounds or sloppy rhythms. It's all good. It's not done. We're working on it.
