Ep. 20 Tap Dance Notes

Your weekly dose of joy!

This seems to be an intermittent theme for me: call and response, with a flurry as the call and something that is definitely not a flurry as the response 🙃 The flurries vary. There are so many different kinds of rhythms that can come out of that kind of movement. So, technically things are different, but I am very much in the same area of Tap Dance Land! Be sure to check out the way this particular flurry of notes flows (differently than some of the past Tap Dance Notes), the flams (two notes that land very close together but not at the same time), and the big triplet breakdown as the response. It might feel like the step is bouncing between two completely different rhythmic worlds. Maybe. Or maybe it's a display of what it looks like to reconcile what we might perceive as two different worlds.
