Ep. 18 Tap Dance Notes

Your weekly dose of joy!

Right back to the groove for me. I enjoy being able to immerse myself in the old ways and newer ideas and feel like they are connected somehow. Well they are! By people. Steve Condos, Gregory Hines, and Savion Glover, in particular for me are the bridges from last week's kind of step to this week's. Check out the PICKUP that sneaks itself in at the end of the step, the funny switch from side to side, and the groovy accents (like a bass drum) that clear themselves up as step goes along. It's a fun short rhythm in the midst of all the other sounds. This step makes me feel like I'm trying to play the whole drum kit!
