This week’s step has little hat tips to Jimmy Slyde AND Lon Chaney (not the actor, the tap dancer). It’s nice when those hat tips come up unconsciously. It means that what I learned is part of what I do now, not just something I do only when I think of my teachers. The circle is closed, my dancing reminds me of my teacher ANd thinking of my teachers can remind of particular kinds of dancing. That’s a sweet deal. Anyway, hope you enjoy this little groove, and Google a bit of Slyde or Chaney while your at it. They are two very interesting characters in Tap Dance Land.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to ask…What are you working on?
