I don’t often find traveling steps. Many of my performance situations don’t allow for it. But, here is one that came that I thought I’d share (even though my head gets cut off at the end). RIFFs are one of my favorite ways to get from one place to another in Tap Dance Land. Here I explore a little variation on a more traditional RIFF step (something from Henry LeTang comes to mind). Inside of this step I found four different variations!! Little thing that I could change that change the feel, ride, and tone of the step. Can you see what I’m changing?
