Ever since I was asked to honor my friend

upon winning the Spirit of Windrider Award, I’ve been witness to a unique gathering at the Sundance Film Festival. The Windrider Summit gathers film students from across the country to experience the Sundance Film Festival in a compassionate conference environment.

The Summit has its own events, curated film screenings, and talk backs with filmmakers, while being in conversation with what is happening concurrently at Sundance. Before heading out this year, I wrote here asking what you’d like to hear about. Reader
