In this week’s Talking Note I explore the idea of a good game. Different than a winning game, or even a beautiful game, the question of a good game gets to the heart of what might matter for us in life. In a world that swims in competitive ethics, switching ones aims towards goodness can be a challenging switch. We move from desiring to win to desiring to live out a set of characteristics – honesty, kindness, generosity, and love, for example.
This week’s question asked in it’s most general sense may not have a quick an easy answer. It may require some drilling [LINK]. It may cause some reflection. All this is good and necessary if we want clarity in our lives. The same question can be used in smaller bites in particular areas of life – a relationship, a work situation, even in dealing with ourselves – which we’ll discuss. But first our question:
