Grace can be confusing. Here’s an attempt to unpack the idea.

Grace opens the door to confession without fear of condemnation. Grace opens the door to true repentance, the making of a contrite heart. Grace opens the door to complete forgiveness. No continued grudge. No chip on the shoulder. Grace opens the door. The confession, repentance, and forgiveness come next.

Grace is not the end of the process. It’s not a free pass to do whatever we want to do along the way. Grace is just the beginning of the way.
