Trust in the Unknown
There is always an unknown. Always something that we are not quite sure of. Yet we are called to discern situations and act, while in this context of not knowing. In the midst of not knowing we lean on trusted friends, past experiences, intuition, the world view we are given, and other sources to gain confidence. In the process we test particular ideas. We learn to trust particular ways.
As we continue to encounter these situations we realize that we rarely have more information than we need to build the trust necessary to discern and act.
The big question here is, “What/who do you trust?" But that’s a questions for another day.
