Processing
Experiences have impact. Interactions have the possibility of changing the parties involved. Information can also be the seed that ultimately changes our perspective on a particular topic.
But taking in information, and processing our interactions and experiences all takes time. It takes time away from the continual stream of intake. It takes time away from the interacting and experiencing.
For some, processing might mean stillness. For others it might mean going for a walk, a run, a hike, or something more active. For some it means solitude, for others it’s in conversation. For me it has meant doing laundry, or dancing in the studio alone, or sleeping.
Whatever it is that you are going through, whatever interactions you’ve had, or information you’re learning. Take the time you need to process.
It is through processing that context builds, purpose is more deeply unveiled, and then we can walk forward with confidence in our journey.
