No One Is Protected
It is self evident that the way we are as people is imperfect. We get angry for no good reason, we offend and are offended, we manipulate and are manipulated. Yet, at the same time, we fight for justice, desire reconciliation, and are heart broken by our own (and other’s) shortcomings.
Here’s the thing: no one is protected from being imperfect, from the need for grace at one moment or another. And while we continue to make laws that attempt to protect us all from each other’s imperfections it is the inner work that we all need to endeavor on that will ultimately lead to peace in our hearts - and everywhere else.
