Help the Helpers
Not everyone has to cut the wind, take point, or invent the wheel. Just as valuable is keeping an eye out for the helpers, identify them, and helping them. Don’t wait for them to ask for help, they’re too busy helping. It’s also safe to assume that they are under-resourced.
Come alongside them, observe and inquire of their needs. Then provide resources you can, whether it’s mental, physical, emotional, or financial support. Just provide what you can. It’s all helpful.
It will be a worthwhile gift, and in the process, you will become a helper yourself.
