I’m late in getting this week’s AtQ to you. My apologies. I hope this week’s questions are valuable, regardless.

In this week’s Talking Note I explored the idea that what we allow into our lives by way of media or activity can have a deep effect on who we become. Of course, inherent in that last sentence is the assumption that we have a choice (“…what we allow…”). In my own life, I’ve found that I have much more choice than I like the think I do. I can put down the phone, turn off the music, or change the channel (if there is such a thing as a channel anymore!). But sometimes I am caught in a particular mode, or way of being, that seems cyclical. I reach for the phone, turn on whatever music may place, and keep the channel the same without even thinking about it.

In today’s Asking the Questions, we’ll explore questions that may help us become aware of the choices we can make, and encourage some experimentation around the cycles we find ourselves in.

Let’s begin.
