Creative endeavors can be hard for me to start, especially in forms other than tap dancing. My comfort and confidence in tap dance can prevent the beginners mind from taking hold. Encouragement gets me over the initial hump, but then there comes the sharpening – the intermediate mind. What doesn’t work is as important to come to know as what does.
